From Eden to Egypt: The Patriarchs' Journey
The book of Genesis takes us on an epic journey from the Garden of Eden to the land of Egypt, following the lives of the Patriarchs - Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. We’ve walked portions of this same path, from the fertile crescent of Mesopotamia to the hills of Canaan and down into the Nile Delta. This map traces their movements: Abraham's call from Ur to Haran, his journey to Canaan and Egypt, Jacob's flight to Paddan Aram, and Joseph’s rise in Egypt. For travelers and Bible students alike, understanding this geography adds depth to the stories. We’ve stood on the plains of Mamre near Hebron, visited the ancient site of Shechem, and marveled at the pyramids of Egypt - each place connecting us to the world of Genesis.
